Day & Residential Program Coordinator (in Cache County)

Position Description Oversight and coordination of Cache County adult psychosocial day program including responsibility for hiring and supervising direct care staff utilizing formal and informal supervision around service delivery, service documentation, scheduling, training and development, etc. Daily program management and operation, including policy and procedure compliance, facility maintenance, program budgeting and expenditure allocations, program development, marketing, public relations and community presence. Direct monthly supervision of residential facility staff, coordination of residential staff hiring, education, training, and performance evaluation. Approves and coordinates residential facility admissions and discharges. Monitors and maintains facility records, program reports, and manages facility maintenance. Assists in development and management of residential facility budget and expenditures. Provides coordination of adjunct housing maintenance and repair, rent collections, lease agreements, evictions, and property management pertaining to Cache County BRMH housing units. Some clinical case work, as well as Completion of mental status, competency, and sanity examinations; Division of Health Care Finance evaluation and form completions (M-20 and Form 1); Consultation and education services under contract. Consultation and education services related to the specific program. Completion of up-to-date quality service documentation, including accurate time sheet records by 30 minutes past closing of the next business day. Approval from immediate supervisor on any and all leave taken. Attending supervision appointments and team and organization meetings as scheduled. Maintaining an automated schedule, reflecting the FTE availability within Center hours, in order to be consistently available to Center staff and clients. Preparing materials for individual and group meetings. Attending trainings within and outside of the Center for job development. When specifically assigned, supervision of staff who are seeking clinical licensure which includes case reviews, case documentation, oversight of clinical treatment, ethical standards and practices, maintaining supervision records, etc. OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXPECTATIONS: ●Knowledge of confidentiality and ability to maintain strict compliance with confidentiality of all client and Center sensitive information. ●Effective oral and written communication skills. ●Knowledge of the principles and practices of mental health treatment, and of community resources available to the mentally ill. ●Leadership and teaming skills for effective and cooperative interoffice relations, and for working with others in client treatment. ●Computer literacy and skills for operation of automated medical records, email, scheduling, etc. ●Timeliness with schedule including whereabouts, arrival to work, attendance at meetings, and client appointments. ●Positive attitude related to job expectations, supervision, Center policies and procedures, etc. ●Ability to behave ethically and to understand and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients and staff. ●Flexible hours to meet client and Center needs, including potentially functioning on the 24-hour crisis rotation team. ●Administrative and organizational skills necessary for effective program coordination and liaison work. ●Conduct expected tasks in a safe manner, uphold Center safety policies, and report perceived safety issues to appropriate sources.

Position Location: Logan, Utah
Position Salary: $63,522 - $81,000/yr (experience based) + Excellent Benefits

Position Shifts:
Job Requirements: Masters degree in related behavioral/social science field + licensure required. Five years direct experience working with adult seriously and persistently mentally ill consumers, experience in the principles and practice of psychosocial rehabilitation, day treatment and residential program administration as well as experience in staff education and training preferred. Working knowledge of CMS/Medicaid rehabilitation rules and various psychosocial frameworks (i.e., Recovery Model, Social Cognitive Model, Transtheoretical Model, Stress-Vulnerability Model, Person-Centered Planning, etc.) desirable. BRMH is an EOE. Additional reimbursement if hired for Spanish skills. National Health Services Corps student loan repayment program also available.
